After a few days, of speculation, I knew “The Coves” would grow on me. Ronnie Fieg’s line of Asics Gel Lyte III’s are set for release on Friday September 3rd at 10AM EST. These are set to be released online and in the Soho location at the David Z store(556 Broadway, 212.431.5450). As usual only 225 pairs will be put into the marketplace so act fast. $115

To capture the beauty of his latest sneaker, Fieg took a trip to Aruba, where he set up a photo shoot with Colombian model Soraya Yd. On a private beach, he used his father’s 26-year old film Nikon FG to capture the scenery around Soraya and his new shoe.
