The Cleveland Cavaliers got the #1 pick, and by all means they NEED it. Back in 2003 the Cavs used their #1 pick on LeBron James. Let’s hope the Cavs do a better job of managing the team, so fans can avoid another 1-hour interview at the Boys & Girls club.
After going from first to almost worst the Cavs have the #1, and #4 pick in the draft.
Minnesota had the worst record in the NBA, but ended up with the 2nd pick in a year where the draft class is less then spectacular. The Timberwolves continued their unbelievable lottery losing streak, falling to 0 for 14 and dropping for the eighth time. They had a 25 percent chance of winning after finishing with a league-worst 17-65 record.
The Utah Jazz also have two picks, #3 and #12.
The Toronto Raptors had the third-best chance at picking first, but instead dropped to fifth.
The Houston Rockets finished exactly where they should have #14. The Rockets also have the #23 pick.
The draft is June 23 in Newark, N.J.
