sheed2k10The folks over at operationsports.com have blessed us with a plethora of NBA2K10 screenshots. Each year the faces of superstars become closer and closer to the real thing. In early videos, it appears you will have the ability to inbounds the ball and let it roll down the court before picking it up saving precious shot clock time. The NBA2K franchise has become the Rolls-Royce of sports games, putting a fair distance between them and the competition. If you haven’t already downloaded NBA2K10 Draft Combine, what are you waiting for. The Draft Combine allows you to create-a-player and build them up through 6 games at the Attack Gym in Chicago. 3-BUTTON OLD SCHOOL!

A review of old Sega Genesis classics ‘Lakers vs. Celtics’, ‘Team USA’, ‘Bulls vs. Celtics’, and ‘Bulls vs. Blazers’. The countless hours spent mashing the three buttons as I endlessly drove to the paint with Jordan and hit the ‘A’ button as soon as I reached the free throw line. At the time there was nothing else, thank the heavens for motion-capture, EA has come a long way. Too bad they now are second place to 2K Sports!

Welcome Back A.I.!!!

With the arrival of these tweets from Allen Iverson this morning

“God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career. I met with Mr. Heinsley, Chris Wallace and my next head coach Lionel Hollins” and

“I feel that they are committed to developing a winner and I know that I can help them to accomplish that. I feel that I can trust them.”Iverson_Grizz

Allen Iverson has returned to the Western Conference, with a 1 year 3.5 mil deal with the Memphis Grizzlies  The Memphis Grizzlies may not be the ‘best’ fit for A.I. but what do the Grizzlies have to lose.  Three seasons with less then 25 wins, and the unthinkable trade of Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown, Memphis needs anything they can get. The additon of Zach Randolph, and the drafting of Haseem Thabeet give Memphis there best lineup since 05′-06′ when they went 49-33.The Southwest Division already regarded as ‘the toughest’ division in the NBA just got tougher. The decision to join the Grizzlies had to be a tough one. They will not make it to the Finals, and they probably wont make it to the playoffs, but in this market the Grizzlies deal was the way to go. If you are a fan of the Memphis Grizzlies then rejoice, because for the first time in team history, you will be respected not only by other teams but by the world. Allen Iverson has a cult following that rivals the legions of fans Yao Ming has in China. Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo have an oppurtunity to watch and learn from a future Hall-of Famer, and thats better then 25 wins any day.
