NBA 2K10 Draft Combine!
Category NBA
The folks over at 2K Sports have done it again. Not only do they continue to distant themselves from their competition(EA Sports= NBA LIVE) but they have created a innovative way in which to play. The recently released NBA 2k10: Draft Combine allows fans to create their own custom player with the utmost detail and, for the first time in the NBA 2K series, begin their career by experiencing the on-court life of an NBA hopeful going through the NBA Draft Combine at the world-renowned, ATTACK Athletics gym in Chicago. This is a godsend for all gamers that love Superstar on Madden, and Road to Glory on NCAA 10. Congrats to 2K Sports for taking it to the next level. Now all I ask is for a flop button, so I can play with Anderson Varejao the right way!
Someone…anyone sign A.I.!

With “unconfirmed” rumors that Allen Iverson was made an offer by the Memphis Grizzlies, we at the The Truth Sports got all excited that Memphis could shake up the Southwest Division. We also thought its a good enough time to remeber the old days, when Iverson could shut down a press conference…see below.
“If Coach tells you that I missed practice, then that’s that. I may have missed one practice this year but if somebody says he missed one practice of all the practices this year, then that’s enough to get a whole lot started. I told Coach Brown that you don’t have to give the people of Philadelphia a reason to think about trading me or anything like that. If you trade somebody, you trade them to make the team better…simple as that. I’m cool with that. I’m all about that. The people in Philadelphia deserve to have a winner. It’s simple as that. It goes further than that … If I can’t practice, I can’t practice. It is as simple as that. It ain’t about that at all. It’s easy to sum it up if you’re just talking about practice. We’re sitting here, and I’m supposed to be the franchise player, and we’re talking about practice. I mean listen, we’re sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we’re talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it’s my last but we’re talking about practice man. How silly is that? … Now I know that I’m supposed to lead by example and all that but I’m not shoving that aside like it don’t mean anything. I know it’s important, I honestly do but we’re talking about practice. We’re talking about practice man. We’re talking about practice. We’re talking about practice. We’re not talking about the game. We’re talking about practice. When you come to the arena, and you see me play, you’ve seen me play right, you’ve seen me give everything I’ve got, but we’re talking about practice right now. … Hey I hear you, it’s funny to me too, hey it’s strange to me too but we’re talking about practice man, we’re not even talking about the game, when it actually matters, we’re talking about practice … How the hell can I make my teammates better by practicing?”
Someone, anyone sign A.I. the NBA needs him!
The Truth Sports=NBA 09′-10′ Predictions
Category Golden St. Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, NBA, Sacramento Kings

The Team to play with on NBA Live or NBA 2K10
Officially the Golden St. Warriors. The combination of Monta Ellis, Stephen Jackson, Corey Maggette, and Stephen Curry make for an exciting time mashing the shoot button. But just like in real-life defense will be null and void. The un-officail pick is based on what happens with Allen Iverson. If he accepts the “unconfirmed” offer the Memphis Grizzlies will be unstoppable on PS3 or 360′ , whichever you prefer. Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo, Marc Gasol, Haseem Thabeet, and “The Anwser” in the starting five is similar to create-a-team.
Most Entertaining Tandem
The paradox of Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest on the same team, makes for some great games. Its like Dennis Rodman and MJ all over again, and that worked out pretty good. Ron Artest isnt as extravagant as Rodman, aside from “the mohawk” but he can definitely go solo from time to time. But Ron knows whose the boss in Laker town, and #24 wont let him forget it.
James Harden for Rookie of the Year(although Blake Griffin will probably win)
The Oklahoma City Thunder are a fortunate orginazation. Betting the franchise on Kevin Durant, The potential of Russell Westbrook, and moving to Oklahoma City, have all been positives for them. The drafting of James Harden might be the step that gets them over the hump. James Harden has a Paul Pierce like presence on the court, you can tell who he is if you are seating in the nose-bleeds. If Harden can steal away the fanfare for another Oklahoma “boy” Blake Griffin he will have a chance. But Griffin is looking like an almost lock for the ROY, and a solid double-double for each game. So we are rooting for James, hope he gets the minutes.
Stephen Curry wins 3pt. Shootout
He has to get invited first but he will get in on popularity alone. The idea of bringing back some excitement to the 3pt. Shootout is needed. Dirk in 06′ and Ray Allen in 01′ were the last “Big” stars to win since Bird in 88′. Jason Kapono, and Daequan Cook, cause fans to get concessions and TV watchers to pick up the remote. Curry is the kind of player the NBA loves to showcase, a good role-model and an exciting player. Like Reggie Miller and Grant Hill combined.
Rise from the Grave-Sacramento Kings
With the addition of Sean May, and the drafting of Tyreke Evans the Kings will definitely win more then 17 games this season. New head coach Paul Westphal will right this ship and at least give the people of Sacramento something to cheer for. Also gotta help the Kings that the mayor of Sacramento Kevin Johnson was once coached by Paul Westphal.
